PRESS RELEASE
Salone del Mobile.Milano
APRIL 16-21, 2024
HALL 5 – Booth A17
History and modernity intersect in a suspended moment, showcasing how carpeting serves as a furnishing complement adaptable to the evolving needs of living. On the occasion of the Salone del Monile.Milan 2024, Radici introduces its new monochromatic textile surfaces and printed patterns, expanding the brand’s offering dedicated to the world of living spaces.
The stand is divided into two areas: one more scenographic, with references to the surrealist current and metaphysical painting, and one more institutional, both designed with a particular focus on chromatic and tactile contrasts. The floor, covered with an elegant blue shade, Levante Cobalto, an high-quality jacquard Wilton wool, gives depth and elegance to the space. On the walls, the printed surfaces appear as paintings whose designs and details can be admired up close. Dominating the space is an architectural volume with regular geometries, a three-dimensional staircase covered in printed carpeting made with a site-specific decor that extends and widens to the floor like a flow of color with irregular edges. Chromatic contrasts and a juxtaposition of shapes and volumes demonstrate the versatility of the textile covering, used as horizontal flooring but capable of becoming the protagonist of entire settings.
The surfaces presented, both printed and woven carpets, underline the dual nature of the brand.: On one hand, the production of high-end textiles made with premium wool, and on the other, the ability to create custom-designed carpets, with a strong focus on sustainability. The printed variants are supported by the Bloom textile flooring, with customizable design, made from Econyl, a nylon yarn regenerated from industrial waste such as fishing nets, carpeting, fabric and plastic production scraps. The 100% recycled raw material gains a new life, transforming into a completely innovative fiber that aspires to generate a positive and green impact.
