Reimagining Floral Design with Uchronia

Eight patterns, twenty colourways and a fresh interpretation of floral motifs: discover Flower Distortion, the collection designed by Uchronia for Radici Carpet.

With Flower Distortion, we explore new creative possibilities for textile flooring through our collaboration with Uchronia, the multidisciplinary creative collective founded by Julien Sebban.

Flowers become the starting point for a visual exploration of geometry, repetition, colour gradients and optical illusions. Natural forms evolve into abstract, dynamic compositions, creating patterns that play with movement and spatial perception.

Eight Patterns, New Design Possibilities

Cosmic Petal, Petal Wave, Petal Grid, Psycho Flower, Sunflower, Fluid Petal, Flourish Motion and Petal Field: eight interpretations of a shared creative vision, each with its own distinctive graphic identity.

From geometric compositions to more fluid forms, Flower Distortion explores the relationship between colour, rhythm and surface. The twenty colourways featured in the catalogue provide a starting point for a design process open to customisation.

Each pattern can be reinterpreted to meet the aesthetic and design requirements of different spaces, giving architects and interior designers the freedom to create tailored solutions.

Discover Flower Distortion and explore its customisation possibilities.

From Pattern to Space

With Flower Distortion, we explore the potential of flooring as an expressive element that helps shape the identity of a space.

The project also takes shape through an immersive installation, unveiled in Milan on 27 October 2026, where floral motifs extend beyond the floor to embrace walls and three-dimensional forms.
