Ri-flettere by Dainelli Studio
The Ri-Flettere project by Dainelli Studio, presented during Milan Design Week 2025 at the University of Milan, is an installation that invites reflection on how the environment influences our perception of space and of ourselves.
The setup unfolds across two mirrored rooms, connected by reflective portals, and plays with three key elements: colour, steel, and thresholds. The carpet takes centre stage in this visual dialogue, appearing in two complementary tones inverted between the rooms. This chromatic choice creates a perceptual transformation effect, where the same architectural elements seem to change simply through colour variation.
Ri-Flettere is a powerful example of how design can spark deep reflection on the relationship between space, colour, and personal perception.
