Frames - Fuorisalone '26
A design narrative where material, colour, volume and visual perception come together. On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, Radici presents Pigments, the new textile collection designed by Marco Piva, within an installation created in collaboration with Zambaiti Parati. Taking centre stage in FRAMES, the installation conceived by Studio Marco Piva, the collections by Radici and Zambaiti Parati will be on display from 20 to 26 April at Corso Garibaldi 17. Two complementary narratives, brought together by a shared design principle. The dialogue between these two languages creates an immersive setting in which surfaces, hues and textures meet within a sequence of frames, like images suspended in time.
The FRAMES installation unfolds as a journey through colour and light, where space reveals itself progressively. The setting is articulated through bands created with the new collections designed by Marco Piva for the two brands: Radici carpets for the horizontal planes and Zambaiti Parati wallpapers for the vertical surfaces.
Separating these material compositions and giving rhythm to the space, a series of white LED lights cuts expands spatial perception, guiding the visitor through an experience of visual saturation. Thresholds and layers define a measured path, where each colour prepares the eye for the next, leading the experience in a dynamic way.
The gaze is directed by this linear and repeated geometry towards the back of the space, where the installation culminates in a screen displaying a video created by Studio Marco Piva, revealing the connection between nature and colour.
For Radici, the FRAMES installation is an opportunity to further deepen its collaboration with architect Marco Piva, creating an all-encompassing dialogue that finds its expression in the presentation of Pigments, the new collection of printed textile surfaces. With the introduction of this new collection into the catalogue, Radici further the brand’s connection with the contract and hospitality worlds, sectors in which the company has long been a key player thanks to highly customizable solutions for public spaces, hotels, restaurants, museums, ships and major international projects. It is a natural dialogue that enriches the offering and underscores Radici’s commitment to developing its own research into textile surfaces as design elements capable of shaping space and the way it is perceived.
