Radici x Salone del Mobile 2022

Immagine di copertina

On the occasion of the 60th edition of the Salone del Mobile. Milan, Radici presents a collection of new designs for textile flooring made in collaboration with the designer Chiara Andreatti.

The collection includes two different types of surfaces , characterized by different yarns, processes and yields: Woven and Printed .
The brand premieres Decò : Bauhaus inspiration, declined on a Wilton textile flooring, 100% wool. Clear graphics and chromatic contrasts give way to an alternation of solids and voids, enhanced by the three-dimensional effect of the cut & loop. The base is in butter color, with interventions in black and mustard yarn, a tribute to the gold of the Weimar school.

“I was immediately fascinated by the historicity of the company. What struck me the most was their strong artisan identity, the attention to detail and the quality of the raw material. Although it is mostly a technical company and very distant from the furniture companies I usually work with, this new adventure was very stimulating. I started first from the study of the raw material and its processing to then create small ‘stories’, ad hoc designs that were able to best express the different possibilities of the brand, from flat and monochromatic creations, to printed or Wilton processes; thus giving a global image of everything the company can achieve and do.“

Chiara Andreatti, Designer e Art Director.
